Like Headwaters Park, Mount Seymour Demonstration Forest was also part of North Vancouver's logging history and is now 5668 hectares of forest reserve. What is truly unique about this area is that its main trail is a 14 kilometer paved road that give assess to everyone and runs right up the middle of the park and ends at the Seymour river dam. You can spend your entire time on this main trail or launch into dozens of adventures that line its 14 kilometer length.

If you are lucky, you might get to see a bear or two along the way but please take care in how you view them. There are also Rough Skinned Newts running about the path at certain times of year but don't let your kids pick the up as their skin is poisonous.
