  • Lynn Valley General Store

Nestled between Mt. Fromme and Lynn Peak, Lynn Valley has been the last stop before nothing but wilderness since about the 1850's. It originally served as a jumping off point and supply post for the lumber industry that reached far into the valley. Forestry was a big part of Lynn Valley right up to the 1930's and remnants of this past can be found throughout the community and along the trails of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park.

Today however, Lynn Valley serves as an idyllic residential community and wilderness haven for thousands of residents and visitors to the area every year. Hidden from view to most of the world, it is hard to believe such a quiet and pristine place can exist so close to the major metropolitan centre of Vancouver.
